Poynting A-OMNI-494 Wi-Fi omni-directional antennae

The Poynting OMNI-494 is a cross-polarized, dual-band Wi-Fi omni-directional antenna designed specifically for maritime and coastal applications. The antenna provides dual-band Wi-Fi coverage in the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 7.2 GHz bands. This makes the OMNI-494 ideal for any Wi-Fi access point, whether it is older Wi-Fi technology or new technology that goes up to Wi-Fi6E (7.2 GHz).

Thanks to the vertically separated radiating elements, the antenna offers high performance 4x4 MIMO. The antennas are cross-polarized with vertical antennas with a peak gain of 9.8 dBi, and horizontal antennas with a peak gain of 5dBi.

The Poynting OMNI-494 has an IP68 protection rating and an enclosure made of UV-stable ASA radome material that makes the antenna fully protected against dust and salt water. This makes the OMNI 949 suitable for harsh and corrosive environments and the antenna can withstand severe storms. This makes the Poynting OMNI-498 ideal for marine and coastal deployment.
