Poynting OMNI-496 dual band WiFi Omni Marine Antenna 7,5 dbi

This new Poynting OMNI 496 Dual band Omni-Directional Wi-Fi (2.4/2.5/5/6 GHz) antenna can connect to any Wi-Fi access point, new or old. The A-OMNI-0496 antenna allows you to switch to another Wi-Fi band where there is a high concentration of Wi-Fi equipment. This way, the WiFi traffic is distributed over several frequency bands, which increases performance and flexibility. 

The Poynting A-OMNI-496-V1-01 is a Si-So (single input-Single output) antenna with a gain of 6 dBi on the 2.4 GHz band and 7.5 dBi on the 5 GHz band. This high gain makes the antenna very suitable for point-to-point connections and environments where many WiFi devices are present. As an extra, the A-OMNI-496 can also operate on the 3.5 GHz WiMax band, which means that it can actually be called a TRI-band antenna

The housing is made of impact-resistant and chemically resistant ABS plastic and is therefore very suitable for use in demanding environments such as marine, yachts, ferries, etc.
