Teltonika BLE ID Eye Beacon (BTSID1)

The Teltonika BLE ID Eye Beacon is a Low Energy Bluetooth ID beacon. The Teltonika Eye Beacon can be used in various applications including tracking deliveries and monitoring various movable objects in logistics such as trailers and containers. The beacon is also suitable for indoor applications such as tracking objects or objects in warehouses, hospitals, transportation and other types of industrial areas. The Teltonika Eye beacons are small in size and have an impact-resistant plastic IP67 housing making the beacons resistant to salt water, harsh weather conditions and vandalism. With its strong housing, small size and convenient mounting holes, the Eye beacon offers various mounting options. For example, it can be attached with screws, stuck with adhesive tape and it is possible to attach it to a keychain.

Each Teltonika Eye beacon has a unique identification number. This number can be used, for example, for driver authentication and electronic date and time stamping. This is all done automatically so the driver does not have to do anything.  Ideal for applications such as delivery services but also for trailers, folding trailers and ambulances carrying objects that need to be checked for operation or secured against theft. Combined with a Teltonika GPS tracker, you have a complete solution that tracks the location of the vehicle in real time as well as anything with an Eye beacon mounted on it.

Eye beacons can also be used in indoor locations as unique location markers. It is possible to create beacon transmission zones. When a vehicle with a GPS/FM tracker enters a zone, the vehicle's location is tracked with high accuracy. If a vehicle operates both outside and inside, it is tracked outside via the GNSS signal and inside via beacons. This solution is ideal for warehouses where goods, vehicles and employees are tracked in real time. Using this solution provides procedural analysis, theft protection, accident prevention and indoor navigation.

Teltonika Eye beacons are easy to configure and monitor via the Teltonika Eye mobile app. Through a simple scan, available Eye products are quickly found and you can set up smart filters and protocol configurations (Eddystone, iBeacon, Teltonika) of your beacons. This allows you to optimize the performance of beacons and ensure they are always up and running.
