SCAN Marine VHF73 VHF Marine Antenna 3 dBi

The SCAN VHF73 Marine antenna is designed for the following frequency range: 146-162.5, which corresponds to the international Maritime VHF band. The amplification is 3 Db (Navy) and 2.1 DBi. The carefully designed, antenna elements are sealed in a high quality conical glass fiber tube with a low wind load. This makes the SCAN VHF73 antenna suitable for highly corrosive environments such as shipping offshore and other demanding applications.

The SCAN VHF73 Marine antenna, in combination with the right support (option), is suitable for mast, wall and deck mounting. The VHF73 can be placed on a support using the 1 inch revolving utility (optional). The antenna can be mounted on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with a diameter of 16 to 54mm.

The cable (optional) can be connected to a UHF Female connector at the bottom of the SCAN VHF73. All metal parts are grounded (dc grounded) in order to significantly reduce noise. A metal baseplate is not needed. With the SCAN VHF73 you get a lightweight VHF marine antenna, which is corrosion and vibration resistant and can be used anywhere in the world.
